Utilities

Utility costs are usually the largest single expense component for business and industry.

However, limited capacity is a much greater threat to stability and profitability.

Natural Gas:

Natural Gas:  Columbia Gas services the park via a 10” main.

Sewer:

Sewer:  A private wastewater treatment system currently services the park.  Public sewer (Port Clinton) will be available in 2007.

Water:

Water:  The Lake Erie Business Park has 2 fresh water intakes from Lake Erie that can process approximately 1.5 million gallons per day.  On-site storage includes a 100,000 gallon tower and two underground storage tanks capable of holding 1.2 million gallons.  The public water line (Ottawa County) runs in front of the park.

Electricity:

Electricity:  FirstEnergy is the park’s electrical service provider.  The Davis Besse nuclear power station is 5 miles to the northwest.
